Slice the chicken breast into steaks by placing your hand flat on top and carefully slicing through horizontally to create two even pieces. Season with salt and pepper, then coat with dried oregano and garlic powder.
2. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large frypan over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
3. Deglaze the pan with white wine, then add butter and whisk until melted. Let it simmer for about a minute before returning the chicken to the pan. Simmer for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens and turns glossy.
