Why did we start Paddock To Pantry?

Back in 2017, we saw our local country market struggling, and knowing how important it was to the community, we dedicated ourselves to bringing it back to life.

With years of retail experience and a deep passion for customer service, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work.

Through dedication and hard work, we not only revitalised the store but expanded its reach, serving not just our local community but also customers nationwide. 

Little did we know what lay ahead, and how crucial this store would become for locals in 2020. Operating through level 4 lockdowns, surrounded by uncertainty, was tough. Our family and team went above and beyond to ensure our community was fed, hydrated, and caffeinated.

One of our proudest moments was when we were asked to prepare a gift that was delivered to the Queen on behalf of New Zealand—a true testament to the quality and care we put into everything we do.

At Paddock To Pantry, our priority is quality—whether it’s locally sourced produce from trusted Kiwi farmers or exceptional international goods that meet our high standards. We believe in supporting local suppliers whenever possible, fostering relationships that benefit our community and customers alike.

But our commitment goes beyond just groceries. We’re deeply involved in our community, supporting initiatives like Life Education Manukau, Totara Hospice, and Karaka Junior Rugby. For us, giving back is not just a value; it’s a way of life.
