Pulled Pork Sliders Recipe
Smoky, tender pulled pork sliders — the ultimate crowd-pleasing weekend dinner, ready in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- • 1 pack Pulled Pork Heat & Eat
- • 1 pack Paneton Ciabatta Rolls
- • 1 bag Leaderbrand Coleslaw
- From your pantry (not included):
- • Salt and pepper to taste
- • Wattie's BBQ Sauce 560ml
- • Heinz SG Aioli Squeezy 295ml
Instructions
- Step 1 — Heat the pulled pork. Follow the heating instructions on the pack. For best results, tip the pulled pork into a saucepan over medium-low heat and warm gently for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and steaming. The slow-cooked pork should be tender, juicy, and falling apart — if it starts to dry out add a splash of water and stir through. Alternatively, heat in the microwave according to packet instructions for an even quicker result.
- Step 2 — Warm the rolls. While the pork heats, slice the Paneton Ciabatta Rolls in half and place cut-side down in a dry frying pan over medium heat for 1–2 minutes until lightly toasted and warm. The slight crunch of a toasted ciabatta roll is the perfect contrast to the soft, juicy pulled pork.
- Step 3 — Dress the coleslaw. Tip the Leaderbrand Coleslaw into a bowl with the dressing provided in the bag. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Step 4 — Build your sliders. Spread a little extra aioli on the bottom half of each ciabatta roll. Pile on a generous serving of hot pulled pork. Drizzle Wattie's BBQ Sauce over the pork —Top with a good heap of dressed coleslaw and press the top of the roll down gently.
- Step 5 — Serve. Serve immediately while the pork is hot and the rolls are warm. Put the BBQ sauce and aioli on the table so everyone can add extra to taste. These sliders are best eaten fresh — have napkins ready!
