Lamb Burger Recipe

Ingredients

• Lamb Patties (4 patties)
• 1 pack Paneton Burger Buns 4 pack
• 1 Iceberg Lettuce (leaves separated)
• 1 punnet Tomatoes (sliced)
• 1 Red Onion (thinly sliced into rings)
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Your favourite sauces — mint sauce, aioli, or tomato sauce all work beautifully with lamb

Instructions

1. Step 1 — Prep the toppings. Separate the iceberg lettuce leaves and tear into burger-sized pieces. Slice the vine tomatoes and red onion into rounds. Lay everything out on a board ready to build as soon as the patties are cooked.
2. Step 2 — Cook the lamb patties. Heat a frying pan, skillet, or BBQ grill over high heat. Season the lamb patties on both sides with salt and pepper. Cook for 3–4 minutes each side until cooked through with a deep golden crust. Lamb patties are thinner than a beef phat patty so cook slightly faster — keep a close eye and don't overcook, as lamb is best when still juicy inside.
3. Step 3 — Toast the buns. While the patties cook, slice the Paneton Burger Buns in half and place cut-side down in the pan or on the grill for 1–2 minutes or in the oven until lightly toasted and golden.
4. Step 4 — Build your burger. Layer the lettuce on the bottom bun, followed by the lamb patty, sliced tomatoes, and red onion rings. Add your favourite sauce from the fridge — mint sauce, aioli, or tomato sauce all pair brilliantly with lamb. Press the top bun down gently and serve immediately.
