Steak Tacos

Ingredients:

  • 2 steaks
  • 8 medium tortillas
  • 120 ml chimichurri sauce (or pesto, or 
    • Homemade Italian dressing)
  • 1 avocado (chopped in small pieces)
  • 150 grams tomatoes (chopped)
  • grams lettuce (roughly chopped)
  • 75 grams feta cheese (crumbled)
  • 1 lime (cut into wedges)

Method:

Cook the steaks: Grill or pan-sear the steaks to your preferred doneness, then let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Toast the tortillas: Heat a dry skillet over medium-high heat and toast each tortilla for about 30 seconds per side, or until lightly browned and golden. If desired, you can brush the skillet with a little butter or olive oil for added flavor.

Assemble the tacos: Slice the rested steak into thin strips. Place a few strips onto each tortilla, drizzle with chimichurri sauce, and add your favorite toppings. Serve immediately and enjoy!
