Recipe:
Prep the Chicken: Pat the chicken breast dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and any spices you like (e.g., paprika, garlic powder, or herbs).
Heat the Pan: Add 1-2 tablespoons of oil (like olive oil or canola oil) to a skillet. Heat the pan on medium-high until the oil is hot but not smoking.
Cook the Chicken: Place the chicken breast in the pan. Let it cook undisturbed for about 5-6 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
Flip and Reduce Heat: Flip the chicken breast and lower the heat to medium. Cook for another 5-7 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature.
Make the Wrap:
Lay your wrap flat and add the veggies, chicken, and herbs in layers. Spoon a little almond sauce over the top and sprinkle with almonds and green onions. Keep the remaining sauce for future meals or recipes.
Roll the wrap into a cylinder, then slice it in half or into pinwheels to serve. You can prepare wraps in advance and store them in the fridge for up to 2 days.
