Pinot noir is a type of wine grape and a style of red wine that is typically light to medium-bodied and fruit-forward. Originally from Burgundy, France and now produced all over the world. New Zealand Pinot Noir is predominantly grown in the cooler southerly regions: Wairarapa, Marlborough, Nelson, North Canterbury and Central Otago.
